About her
I enjoy reading and writing , going to theatre to opera and ballet, visiting art exhibitions and many of these are more fun with a companion.When I lived in London I was a member of the British Museum. I still regularly visit London for interest visits.
Once some years ago I won a Mephisto Crossword Prize and still enjoy crosswords. And still do the Mephisto most weeks.
I love travelling. Before I retired I was a teacher/examiner in English for Business , with the London Chamber of Commerce. This meant a lot of travelling in Europe. I miss it!
I have 2 sons, both living abroad, and one grandson, so I do get to travel a bit to see them. I also belong to a group of similar women who lunch together and sometimes holiday together.
I tend to stay up late rather than get up early. I have recently joined a Meetup group to go to London theatres.
